There are many students that need both Advanced and Masterdiver dives at both the quarry and ocean. I will try to notify students in need of such dives but there a lot of you and it is hard to keep up with all of you.
Please notify me if you have such a need. I dive on a regular basis at both locations so there should be no problem in accomodating all of you. I am very excited about the upcoming season and diving with all of our loyal students. _________________ I dive... therefore I am |

Thanks Kevin,
Can you or anyone, tell me what the total cost of the AOW course is?
(Books, registration, boat fees, quarry fees)
Whatever it is to complete the course?
Thanks, Steve _________________ Thank a Veteran! |

I believe the course is $175 plus book (maybe $40). Dont hold me to the exact dollar amount. Instructor fees are included in the price.
There is some gear you will need. Primary light, back up light, Tank light, wreck reel ($185), Jersey reel with lift bag ($130). Lights vary in cost so stop in the shop and price them out. Remember gear is gear and its yours to own. It is not really fair to include it in the cost of the class but I want you to be aware you will need it.
You will need one day at Dutch Springs ($32), and two boat days ($95 a day). Dont forget cost of rentals for gear you do not own yet. Again it is not fair to include these in the cost of the class because you would have the expense even if you were just diving for the day. _________________ I dive... therefore I am |

I have such a need. For both. I did the Master Diver under my PADI AOW, so I believe I can intermix my Advanced and Master dives, right (did the NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver to see dives a bit more rigorous than "Fish ID")

If you did not take the classroom or book work for your AOW with us then I will need a referal from your first instructor. Then you can complete the dives with us for the fee of $40 a day for your instructor fees. You will need 3 days of diving to complete the six needed dives.
NAUI masterdiver and PADI masterdiver are two different programs. PADI masterdiver is the completion of five specialty courses. NAUI masterdiver is a class off its own and is very intense. It requires 24 hours of classroom along with 8 dives under various conditions determined by your instructor.
In either case if you would like to complete either course simply PM me so that we can go over details and I can also become more familiar with you and your dive experience. Thank you very much. _________________ I dive... therefore I am |

Assuming this was directed at me, I've already taken both the NAUI Advanced and NAUI Master Diver classroom work. From you, in 2007 (Spring for Advanced and Fall for Master). I was the big guy, balding, beard, SAC rate of a hoover set on high....
What I haven't done is finish the dives. My comment about the PADI AOW is that I already did my PADI AOW while on a liveaboard in Australia, which should fulfill the Advanced requirement for the Master Diver certification, so I believe there isn't a requirement for me to complete my NAUI Advanced dives before doing the NAUI Master Diver dives.
I was also trying to explain why I would take the Advanced Scuba Diver class if I already had a PADI AOW card, and the answer was to learn more challenging topics than were offered on the PADI AOW I took.
Sorry if I was confusing earlier. I need to not rush to complete a post while trying to get ready to go home from work.
